Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using IponBuddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of IponBuddy, including free and premium subscribers.

IponBuddy is a bilingual (English and Filipino) personal finance management mobile application that allows users to:

• Track income and expenses across multiple wallets (cash, GCash, Maya, bank, credit cards)
• Set and monitor monthly budgets by category
• Create and track savings goals with milestone notifications
• Manage loans — money lent and borrowed (utang & pahiram)
• Track paluwagan (group savings rotation) contributions and schedules
• Set and receive reminders for recurring bill due dates
• Compute SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions based on monthly salary
• Track 13th month pay and pay cycle schedules
• View net worth across all wallets and liabilities
• Set up recurring transactions (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) — Premium
• View spending analytics and generate reports — Premium
• Export financial data as CSV or PDF files — Premium
• Protect the app with a PIN or biometric lock (fingerprint / Face ID)
• Use all features offline with automatic sync when reconnected
• Receive smart budget, goal, bill, loan, and paluwagan notifications

IponBuddy is a personal finance tool only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use IponBuddy
• One person may not maintain more than one free account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

IponBuddy offers a Premium subscription with the following plans:

Billing Terms

• Subscriptions are processed and managed through Google Play
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account upon purchase confirmation
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play → Subscriptions
• No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law

The free plan includes the following limitations:

• Maximum of 2 wallets
• Maximum of 3 budgets
• Maximum of 3 savings goals
• Maximum of 1 loans
• Maximum of 1 bills
• Maximum of 1 paluwagan
• No recurring transactions
• No access to advanced analytics
• No CSV or PDF export

These limits may be updated at any time. Upgrading to Premium removes all limitations and unlocks recurring transactions, advanced analytics, CSV/PDF export, and unlimited access to all features.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated tools to access the App in a way that could damage or overburden our servers
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to store or transmit malicious code

IponBuddy and all its content, features, and functionality — including the name, logo, design, code, and text — are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Your use of IponBuddy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the App
• We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time

IponBuddy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

IponBuddy is a personal budgeting tool only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IponBuddy and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or financial losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting the App.

• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
• Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination
• Premium subscription cancellation does not delete your account or data

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
